Environment & Spirituality is a collaborative project developed by UNSW Art & Design and Wakayama University in 2012. The experience provided us with the opportunity to develop a site-specific artwork inspired by the kanji for healing in Chikatsuyu, Wakayama, Japan.
Upon their return to Sydney, the collective created a diverse portfolio of works, which were featured in an exhibition at Kudos Gallery, Paddington. I created a shelf installation, which featured found ceramic objects and naturally-dyed textile pieces. I also designed the printed collateral that was used to market the exhibition.
